HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - The Harris County Sheriff's Office has identified a man who is accused of shooting his father on Saturday evening.

Deputies say 21-year-old Adrian Duany Alvarez has been identified as the shooter.
The investigation reveals that after allegedly shooting his father, he fired another shot at a relative's vehicle and left the scene.
The victim, a 45-year-old man, is still in critical condition at a hospital.

Deputies responded to the 10200 block of Heather Hill Drive around 7:30 p.m. Saturday and found a man who had been shot.
Investigators say Alvarez was arrested after leading police on a chase just before 10 p.m. Saturday.
