HOUSTON - Houston Police have reopened the North Freeway following a deadly car crash on the highway.

According to Harris County Lieutenant Terry Garza, the crash happened Saturday morning on I-45 North at West Road.

Drivers were directed toward the exit to Mount Houston Road near the Aldine area.

The lanes were reopened at about 1 p.m.

Lt. Terry Garza says the crash itself involved one vehicle.
