Houston police investigate shooting on Ranchester.
HOUSTON - Three people are dead and another is hospitalized after a shooting in the parking lot of an apartment complex in west Houston.
The shooting occurred around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 6300 block of Ranchester.

According to police, a witness said he and his friends were hanging out by his apartment when a dark, four-door vehicle with multiple suspects inside drove by, causing a confrontation.
Police say the suspects got out of the vehicle and began shooting at the group.
A 20-year-old woman, 21-year-old man and a man in his 40s died at the scene. An 18-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition. A fifth person who was with them was not injured.
The suspects fled the scene after the shooting.
