Parents Allegedly Threaten to Call ICE at Houston High School Volleyball Game

When does yelling from the stands cross the line? A Houston high school volleyball game is going viral for the wrong reasons. Two TikTok videos from a game between Austin High and Kashmere High show spectators allegedly threatening to call ICE on students’ parents, and someone shouting that a player’s mother should go back to Mexico. The student who posted the videos says they took them to the principal, but the adults who made the comments were never removed from the gym. What happened before the cameras started rolling hasn’t been independently confirmed. State Rep. Jolanda Jones (D-Houston) and Cesar Espinosa, executive director of FIEL Houston, join Isiah Carey to talk about what happened and what should come next.
