2 defendants in Harris County capital murder cases go missing after posting bond
Update: Court records now show a man thought to be a fugitive in Harris County is in federal custody and has been for more than a year. Felipe Orutna was taken in by federal agents in December 2024. But court records in Harris County show him as having appeared in their courts as recently as 2025. He had a warrant out for his arrest.
