Attorney discusses release of Houston ICE shooting witness
A federal judge has ordered Daniel Tirado Pantoja released from ICE custody after 49 days in detention. Pantoja was one of the men inside the van when Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was shot and killed during an ICE operation in Houston on July 7. FOX 26 spoke with Pantoja’s attorney, Ross Miller, about the judge’s decision, what it means for Pantoja’s ongoing immigration case and how his release could make it easier for him to cooperate with investigators looking into Salgado Araujo’s death.
