Bay Area Turning Point paints the town purple for domestic violence awareness

A shelter for domestic violence victims painted the town purple to advocate for an end to domestic and sexual violence. Bay Area Turning Point is a crisis intervention center and a shelter in Webster that serves survivors of family violence and sex assault. Members painted the 100-year-old League City gazebo purple to commemorate Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
