Houston-area weather forecast: July 18th
We're off to a mild and muggy start on this Sunday with a few coastal showers that should weaken throughout the morning. More showers, even a stray storm, could form as the sea breeze kicks in later this afternoon, but rain chances will remain relatively low today at about 30%. Rain chances increase next week, especially Tuesday through Thursday as a front approaches the area, but never quite makes it through the region. Periods of heavy rain will be possible, but drier weather filters in on Friday and Saturday. Highs should reach the mid 90s today and low 90s beginning Monday.
