Another warm, mostly dry day coming
Another warm and mostly dry day on Friday. There's a good chance for some rain around Houston but it will come after the peak of the daytime heating in the afternoon. A front approaches Southeast Texas late on Friday and stalls keeping rain in the forecast all weekend. Not all of the outdoor holiday plans will be washed out but definitely prepare for some interruptions. Be safe if you are outside and lightning is in your area. Tropical Storm Elsa is in the Atlantic and should head towards Florida and the eastern Gulf.
