National figures call for end to police killings, meaningful legislative change
Hundreds of people took to the streets in Houston over the weekend for a march in honor of Houston-native George Floyd. National figures also took part in that gathering including Sabrina Fulton, the mother of Treyvon Martin, Floyd’s brother, Philonise, Ruff Ryders founder Waah Dean, and Louisiana activist Arthur “Silky Slim” Reed. Our panel discusses why the march mattered, the push for legislative change, and what anyone in any community can do to make a difference.
