Houston-area weather forecast: May 9th

A mild and muggy start to our Mother's Day with temperatures not dropping all that much overnight. We should see highs reach the upper 80s this afternoon and as we warm, rain chances will also slightly increase. Most of us should remain dry, though. A cold front will eventually move through the region as we head into Tuesday and that's when we'll see our best shot at rain. Temperatures behind the front will be cooler, with highs on Wednesday and beyond in the low 80s.
