Austin Mayor apologizes
In what can only be described as a deeply embarrassing case of "do what I say, not what I do" Austin?s mayor Steve Adler has issued an apology after the revelation he traveled to the Mexican resort of Cabo San Lucas aboard a private jet with seven guests who had attended his daughter's wedding. Trouble is, Mayor Adler had repeatedly urged his constituents in the capital city to avoid travel as a precaution against the additional spread of COVID-19 Adler?s miss-step became a notch deeper with confirmation he posted a Facebook message from his Cabo accommodations, urging Austinites to "stay home". The WYP panel talks about local state and national elected officials and the handling of the coronavirus.
