What to expect locally from Hurricane Delta
Delta is now a hurricane with winds at 75 mph. It is expected to become a major hurricane by Wednesday and enter the Gulf of Mexico. It is still forecasted to make landfall over Louisiana. Meanwhile, the weather in SE Texas will continue to be very comfortable this week. The only impact on our area from Delta may be elevated tides and some swells along the coast Thur and Fri. We will watch it closely.
