Houston-area weather forecast 10/4

Our quiet and dry weather continues with pleasant temperatures in the morning as they warm into the 80s for the afternoon. This trend will continue all week long with no rain chance through, at least, Friday. Meanwhile, we will be watching tropical storm Gamma as it meanders in the southern Gulf of Mexico and a tropical wave, located in the Caribbean, must be watched as it's forecast to move into the Gulf over the next week. At the moment, the National Hurricane Center gives this wave about an 80% chance of tropical development.
