In the early 20th Century, Marcus Garvey started a movement that preached taking Black people back to Africa. Many have continued that campaign without much success. In 2020, 19 families in Georgia haven?t gone back to Africa but they?ve separated themselves from whites with nearly 100 acres of land they plan to call home in the state.
