Friday afternoon weather forecast

We're waiting on our weather to change as we head into the weekend. Until then, expect our mild and cloudy pattern to continue. Highs on Friday will reach the low 70s, slightly cooler than Thursday. Showers will be around for the day as well. Saturday is when that 'change' will arrive in the form of a cold front. Showers look likely on Saturday, but Sunday will bring clearing skies and much cooler temperatures. The Chevron Houston Marathon will also be cooler with temperatures slowly warming out of the 40s into the 50s during the race.
