NCAA sanctions UH over football and volleyball violations

The University of Houston will vacate three wins from the 2018 football season after the NCAA says a former tutor wrote papers for two football players in exchange for cash. According to the NCAA, the tutor wrote four papers for the student-athletes for around $200. University of Houston's volleyball program was also found to have broken rules for exceeding practice hours. UH will serve a one-year probation and pay a self-imposed $5,000 fine.
