Bayou City Buzz: HISD mentorship programs honor seniors at Winter Ball

The Ascending to Men and ROSES Project leverages community resources and partnerships to provide students with mentors who support them academically and socially. Students in the program, most of whom are African-American and Hispanic, participate in professional workshops, entrepreneurship tours, college visits and a culminating youth summit at the end of the year.
