Transgender Day of Remembrance honors lives lost, highlights growing danger to transgender community

Transgender Day of Remembrance began 20 years ago, but unfortunately the danger has only grown with time. 22 transgender people have been killed just this year, with four of those murders happening here in Texas. All but one of the victims was black, and 15 of them were under the age of 30.
