Tropical Weather Forecast - Continuing to monitor the Pacific for tropical development
In the Atlantic, conditions remain unusually calm with no significant tropical waves and models that don't show much happening over the next week. A tropical storm named Kiko will pass well north of Hawaii today and the main threats will be large waves and rip currents. In the Eastern Pacific, models are showing a high chance for another tropical system to develop off of the Southwestern coast of Mexico late this week into the weekend.
