HISD school ratings | What's Your Point?

A report card arrived this week assessing the academic performance of Houston ISD campuses for the 2022-23 school year. Of the district's 272 campuses, 113 received letter grades of either D or F, with HISD earning an overall mark of C. The 2022-23 school year is particularly significant, large in part because controversial state appointed superintendent Mike Miles took the helm immediately after. While Miles has taken lots of heat for his methods and his management style, he's raised test scores.
