Hitchcock ISD students learn music's influence on Underground Railroad

As we celebrate Black History Month, some students at Stewart Elementary in Hitchcock ISD got a chance to do something a little different. They explored the ways spiritual hymns helped escaping slaves navigate the Underground Railroad.
