Houston weather: More wet weather on the way, FOX 26 Storm Alert Day issued for Thursday
We'll get noticeably warmer Wednesday as a more humid south breeze returns - that will set the stage for scattered storms that could begin in the afternoon and will reach their peak by Thursday as a cold front pushes through Southeast Texas. The timing for the stronger storms will be in the late afternoon and a few could be severe with the potential for hail and gusty winds. Some rain could linger through early Friday, but our forecast looks great after that. This weekend will bring brisk nights with sunny, mild days and next week's temps should run well above average.
