Houston weather forecast for the week ahead

Quiet weather will prevail as we go into another work week. Watch out for some patchy fog that could impact your morning commute for Monday. Otherwise look for quiet and pleasant weather Monday with temperatures heating up into the 70s. Next cold front is set to arrive late Monday night into early Tuesday morning which will mean cooler air for New Year's Eve. This cold front should come through without any rain or storms. In fact the weather pattern remains quiet and dry for New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and for Thursday. Low rain chances return late week by Friday and Saturday with a better chance for showers and storms coming ahead of our next cold front on Sunday. Some models are indicating much colder air may return to the area after that front so stay tuned!
