Get ready for a cold night tonight as temps should fall into the upper 30s in many locations with a few spots, especially north of Houston, at risk for a light frost. Otherwise, the weekend will be sunny and festively cool. Milder air and showers will return next week for Christmas Eve when highs could hit the mid 70s along with rain. For now, expect showers overnight into Christmas morning with cool, but not cold weather.
