FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast
All SE Texas counties are under a burn ban except for Brazoria and Galveston counties. It's been extremely dry with no rain for Houston (IAH) since September 25th. Big pattern change is right around the corner with widespread rain and a few strong storms possible Wednesday and Thursday. This wet and stormy weather comes as a cold front drops into the Houston area Thursday afternoon. Rain chances will be highest Wednesday & Thursday late morning through the afternoon. Spotty showers will linger through the evening. So trick-or-treat plans may be impacted. Definitely stay indoors if you hear thunder or see lightning. Spotty rain should stick around all the way through Election Day with temperatures remaining above normal.
