Heat is building across all of southeast Texas although heat advisories currently remain to our north. Regardless, be very careful in the heat and find a cooling center if you are without A/C. Look for a stretch of triple digit temperatures through Friday with temperatures near 100 this weekend. Rain will be hard to come by with a 10% chance today and a dry stretch the rest of the week. Tropical Storm Debby could dump another 10+ inches of rain around coastal parts of the Carolinas through Friday before it finally pushes away this weekend. Another tropical wave in the central Caribbean could end up in the southern Gulf of Mexico over the next 5 days. It has a low chance to become our next tropical storm or hurricane.
