FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast: Heat is building!

Air Quality Alert remains in place through Tuesday evening for Harris, Galveston & Brazoria counties for higher ozone levels. Dangerous heat will build in later this week with a stretch of triple digit days likely. Drink plenty of water and make use of cooling centers open if necessary. Look for an isolated shower or storm today and tomorrow. After that, even low rain chances go away for the rest of the week. Tropics remain active with Tropical Storm Debby dumping a lot of rain over the SE US. Another Tropical wave in the eastern Caribbean has a Low 30% chance to become our next named tropical system.
