Justice delayed but not denied
On Texas Death Row for 22-brutal-years... for a killing he didn't commit. It was the fate of Kerry Max Cook - convicted of the 1977 rape, murder and mutilation of 21-year-old Linda Jo Edwards. This week, 47 years after the fact - the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals officially exonerated Cook on all charges - citing egregious police and prosecutorial misconduct. Here in Houston - exoneree Anthony Graves who served time on death row with Cook - expressed gratitude that while "delayed"...justice was not "denied" his friend.
