Some of the sweetest and authentic flavors of Mexico can be found at La Michoacana Autentica, a family-owned ice cream store that has a dedicated following. Owner Jorge Padilla and his wife Vanessa specialize in traditional "paletas" and other delicious treats from south of the border. Their first store on Jones road was such a hit with customers that they decided to open a second location on FM 1960. If you're looking for a new spot to beat the summer heat, definitely check them out.
