Huge round of morning storms cooled us off and zapped most of the energy for afternoon storms out of our atmosphere. The good news is that we've been taken out of any severe storm risk for the rest of today. I can't rule out a few showers or storms though through the early evening. Storm chance increases again Saturday, especially during the afternoon and evening. We are under a 1 out of 5 low risk for a few strong to severe storms Saturday. Good news is that storm chances are lower for your outdoor plans Sunday and remain low for next week. Temperatures get hotter next week but we are still keeping triple digits away for now.
