FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Summer-like weather is rushing into southeast Texas this week. Look for temperatures and heat index values to slowly climb as we move through the week. The highest rain chances will come late on Wednesday evening as storms from north Texas will slide south, falling apart before reaching Houston. There is some smoky air over the Gulf of Mexico that will make skies hazy over the next few days as well. Our bodies are not ready from this much heat so early in the season, so use caution with activities outdoors. Be safe in the heat!
