When will the Pelican Island Bridge reopen?
The Pelican Island Bridge was damaged when it was struck by a barge on Wednesday morning. The bridge is only partially open to allow people to leave the island. Dr. Vedhus Hoskere, an assistant professor of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Houston, explains what inspectors will have to look at to determine when the bridge could fully reopen.
