FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Thursday will be a FOX 26 Storm Alert Day. On Thursday, plan on a few rounds of storms that could be strong to severe along with heavy downpours that could lead to a few flooding issues. I expect a few showers tonight with isolated strong storms possible after 3 a.m. Thursday morning. But look for widespread rain and strong storms late Thursday morning through the afternoon. I think this is when the heaviest rain will fall. Models are showing another round of showers and storms late Thursday night from around 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. Friday. Then we should dry things out for a pleasant and drier weekend. Look for another decent chance for showers and storms returning on Monday.
