It looks like our next big round of rain is still set to roll in late Friday into early Saturday. Models are indicating around 1-3" of rain for much of SE Texas between Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Along with heavy rain, a few strong to severe storms are also possible early Saturday morning, mainly from 2-9 AM. Main threats would be winds near 60 mph, hail and frequent lightning. Flood threat will increase for Houston during this time also with the highest street flooding risk east of Houston over Liberty and Galveston.
