A storm system is on the way that will affect parts of the first weekend of Galveston Mardi Gras but today we get to enjoy another nice day. Look for increasing clouds today with a pleasant high temperature in the low 70s. We may wake up to some misty drizzle on Friday morning, followed by Friday night thunderstorms and some potentially heavy rain for the first half of Saturday. It looks like rain should clear out by Saturday afternoon and evening and Sunday looks breezy and dry.
