Severe storms that rocked the Houston area on Monday have moved to the east and are part of a system that is bringing tornadoes in Florida, heavy rain for the eastern U.S. and heavy snow for the Midwest. Locally, today will be windy, sunny, chilly and dry. Tonight will be cold, but will be followed by milder air Wednesday and Thursday. Watch for another front late Thursday followed by another blustery day on Friday. Prepare for a blast of very cold air next week.
