Tornado threat has ended for the Houston area but scattered showers are still possible behind a strong cold front along with a few rumbles of thunder. However, no additional severe storms are anticipated for the Houston area tonight. Wind will remain strong through Tuesday evening with gusts up to 45 mph. For that reason, wind advisory is in effect until 6 PM Tuesday. Next storm system should bring a few showers and storms late Thursday and Friday. Following that system, the coldest air so far this season likely arrives with Houston's first freeze possible early Saturday. Temperatures will remain on a roller coaster over the next week with more chances for rain so stay tuned!
