Houston woman sentenced to 22 years in prison

In a tragic case, Houston resident Sha-Taraca Pervis, 50, has pleaded guilty and will serve the next 22 years in prison for the 2017 stabbing death of her boyfriend, 34-year-old Melvin Maxwell, in a Galleria-area hotel.
