FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

It's almost time to head back to work and school after the holiday weekend. Look for some big weather changes later this week. We'll start off cool and quiet Monday and Tuesday with morning temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Temperatures will rebound to the 50s Monday afternoon and near 60 Tuesday. Moisture increases ahead of the next storm system later in the week with temperatures soaring to the 70s Thursday and Friday. That is when a round of heavy rain could impact the area with scattered strong storms also possible. Some showers will linger into next weekend as well. So prepare for a chilly and dry start to week with a warmer and wetter end.
