FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Moisture from a disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico and powerful Hurricane Lidia in the eastern Pacific will head our way. Disturbance in the SW Gulf of Mexico now has only a 10% extremely low chance to develop into a tropical system. Most areas will pick up less than a half inch of rain with the heaviest showers near the coast. Best chance for rain will be tonight through Wednesday morning with rain fading by Wednesday afternoon and evening. Severe storms are not expected. Temperatures will be pleasant Wednesday in the 70s with temperatures back near 90 Friday. That warming trend will be ahead of our next cold front that will have it feeling like fall again in Houston this weekend!
