FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Today has been warmer but overall an extension of the beautiful fall weather we enjoyed over the weekend. Look for clouds increasing Tuesday with rain becoming more likely late Tuesday through Wednesday PM. This is due to the fact that we will get tropical moisture from 3 different systems heading our way. There's tropical storms Max & Lidia in the eastern Pacific and a disturbance in the SW Gulf of Mexico. The good news is that there's only a low 20% chance for a tropical depression or tropical storm to form in the next few days. Most of this moisture stays to our south but Tuesday night through Wednesday morning will be our best chance for some tropical downpours. Models are indicating around .5" to 1.5" from Houston to Galveston. but more than 4" is possible for south Texas. Low rain chances hang around through Friday when a cold front will move through. Look for more heat & humidity this week with another nice drop in temperatures by the weekend.
