Tropical Weather Forecast - October 6, 2023

Philippe has become Post-Tropical Cyclone Philippe as it moves north into cooler waters. It still is bringing some heavy rain and strong wind to Bermuda. Philippe could spread 1-3" of rain over parts of northern New England and Nova Scotia this weekend as it is forecast to make landfall Saturday night. Another tropical wave is coming off of the coast of Africa with a medium 50% chance to develop into a tropical cyclone over the next 7 days. The next name on the list would be Sean. Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean remain quiet for now but hurricane season runs through the end of November. So stay alert!
