Off-duty officer witness suspects robbing with gun

Two suspects are now in custody after robbing someone and subsequently shooting at an off-duty officer. The incident began at Dover and Bellfort this afternoon when the officer witnessed the robbery and decided to tail the suspects from a safe distance. Houston police reported that while following the suspects, the driver exited the vehicle and fired shots at the officer. Thankfully, the officer was not injured and continued to follow the suspects until police arrested both individuals on Braniff Street
