FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Street flooding threat will remain high through Thursday with more rounds of heavy rain expected. Spotty downpours will continue through early evening, winding down tonight. But as our first fall cold front approaches Thursday morning, look for widespread rain breaking out around 7-8 AM and continuing through the afternoon. Best chance for rain Thursday appears to be between 7 AM and 3 PM. Severe storms are not expected but a few flood advisories or flash flood warnings cannot be ruled out. A few showers linger Friday with cooler and drier air arriving just in time for your outdoor weekend plans. Enjoy the taste of fall this weekend with much lower humidity and temperatures in the 50s Sunday and Monday morning!
