FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast
Air Quality Alert for higher ozone levels has been extended until Thursday evening for the Houston area. Isolated to spotty showers and storms are expected through the end of the work week. Severe weather is not expected, but a few storms could contain some strong gusty wind and brief heavy rain. Rain chances get even lower for the weekend and go away by Monday and Tuesday of next week. As we get closer to October, the summer heat will hang on even though it is officially fall. Look for temperatures to remain above average through early next week in the middle 90s.
