Tropical Weather Forecast - September 26, 2024
Things remain quiet for SE Texas with no tropical activity expected to impact us through this week. However, Philippe remains a tropical storm in the central Atlantic with 45 mph winds and it is expected to get close to the Lesser Antilles and Puerto Rico by this weekend. By then it should weaken to a post-tropical remnant low. A strong tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic has a high chance to become the next tropical depression or storm over the next few days. Rina would be the next name for our next tropical storm or hurricane.
