FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Look for isolated showers & storms through this evening with the best chance for Houston and areas east of Houston. Isolated to spotty storms are possible Friday PM with low rain chances through the weekend. Our best chance for widespread rain will come Monday. Drought conditions remain pretty bad so the rain will be beneficial. Temperatures remain above normal in the middle 90s through the weekend with slight heat relief expected early next week. Potential tropical cyclone 16 has formed off the coast of Florida and is expected to become a Tropical storm by Friday. It won't head to SE TX but will bring the threat for coastal flooding, storm surge & strong wind to the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic this weekend.
