Heat Advisory continues south around Galveston, Bay City & Wharton through 10 PM Friday. The dangerous heat wave will persist for at least the next week with little to no rain relief in sight. Expect triple-digit heat for the next 7 days with only a 10-20% chance for rain returning late in the weekend. Continue to look before you lock the car, take breaks while outside, drink plenty of water, and make sure your pets are cool and safe also!
