Excessive Heat Warnings continue until 9pm Tuesday for Grimes, Polk, San Jacinto, Walker, Washington, Montgomery, & Liberty counties. Temperatures could get up to 105 degrees. The remainder of the area is under a Heat Advisory until 9pm Tuesday with heat index values of 108-112 likely. Remember to protect yourself from the sun and heat by using sunscreen, drinking water & taking it easy while spending time outside. We remain stuck in this pattern all week with triple digits likely. Rain chances return by the middle and end of the week but are very slim.
